The Robotics System Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing autonomous robotic systems that can navigate and perform agricultural tasks. The successful candidate shall have experience and a deep understanding of software and hardware engineering. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test autonomous robotic systems for agricultural applications.
  • Collaborate with software and algorithms teams to integrate systems and ensure compatibility with the entire system.
  • Develop control algorithms to ensure the safe and reliable operation of robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex robotic systems and associated software.
  • Test and validate system performance through rigorous testing and analysis in both simulation and field environments.
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials to support the deployment of robotic systems.

Job requirements

  • Soul player with a “can-do” attitude – Essential criteria!
  • M.Sc. degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing robotic systems
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and/or other robotic middleware frameworks
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB
  • Familiarity with Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Control Theory
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in startup working mode – advantage
  • Experience in agriculture – advantage
