Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead the development of an innovative agricultural robotics platform. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall design, engineering, and production of the robot, as well as the management of a team of engineers and technicians.

• Lead the design and engineering of the agricultural robot, including the development of hardware, software, and mechanical components.
• Manage and oversee the production of the robot, including the procurement of materials and the coordination of fabrication and assembly.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and direction as needed.
• Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure the smooth and successful development and production of the robot.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestones, ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget.
• Conduct regular assessments of the robot's performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of agricultural robotics.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, with a focus on robotics or a related field. PhD is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the engineering field, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
• Strong technical skills in robotics engineering, including experience with hardware, software, and mechanical design.
• Experience with agricultural robotics or other related fields is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
